Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Business Intelligence Lead solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Business Intelligence Lead will support Stars Operations and Strategic partners (CWHH, CWMG, SNP, CM, GOo365, etc.) data/analytics, strategy consultation, outcomes analyses, operational outcomes, and other business intelligence needs. Additionally, this role will be a key contributor to Humana's growth in data acquisition solutions and strategy to ensure the Stars team is leveraging external data opportunities and maximizing measure impacts (Sunfire, Cohere, Interop, Member Reported, etc.). This role will require the candidate to have a broad understanding of the Stars program, measure specifications, and how enterprise partners and data acquisition efforts can help drive measure performance. This position is accountable for ensuring operational excellence and maximizing program efficiency, while also requiring a creative mindset in helping design/implement new solutions. This role works closely with key partners throughout the enterprise, especially (but not limited to) MPA, QSI, Interop, and Stars Technology. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of data analysis experience
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
  • Advanced in SQL, SAS, and other data systems
  • Experience with creating data visualizations in Power BI
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
  • Self-starter – comfortable working independently to accomplish components of a larger program
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective facilitator – direct collaborative efforts amongst internal and external partners

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Medicare Stars experience – HEDIS, CAHPS/HOS
  • Experience working with Claims/Supplemental Data
  • Experience working with Centerwell Entities
  • Experience in overseeing member engagement programs
