About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a technical engineering lead for its Cryptographic Services team to advance its hardware-rooted cryptographic asset lifecycle platform. This platform serves as the system of record for all keys, certificates, and PKI chains. The role involves enhancing the platform's technology, processes, and team, with a focus on making high-assurance cryptographic services self-service without compromising control.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience building and operating production software, including ownership of a service with real availability expectations.
Strong hands-on engineering skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar, across the full stack of a cloud service.
Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, key management, digital signatures, and HSM-backed systems.
Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to real engineering problems.
Clear written communication and proactive habits.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security.
Experience replacing ticket-driven processes with genuine self-service and demonstrating measurable impact.
Interest in growing into broader technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Build a cryptographic asset registry, including key and certificate inventory and lifecycle tracking with usable interfaces.
Instrument the platform with telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization for sensitive materials.
Own signing flows end-to-end, including job type design, API and CLI surfaces, and the customer experience.
Support post-quantum signing in production, including ML-DSA dual signing on HSM-backed keys, LMS software keys, and hybrid flows.
Build agent-assisted paths for customer self-service, while rigorously defining human intervention points.
Measure key performance indicators such as deflection rate, time to first signature, and onboarding time.
