About The Position
Prepares tissue specimens for diagnosis by Pathologist. Works with Pathology residents, fellows and attendings to meet the needs of the clinicians and patients.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalent of training and experience is necessary.
- Certification or eligibility for certification as Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Nice To Haves
- Two years experience in a Histology laboratory is desirable.
