About The Position

Performs full range of routine to complex neurological EEG studies, including Evoked Potentials (BAER, AER), EMU and bedside video EEG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient setting on adults and pediatric patients, or performs routine to complex Nerve Conduction studies, including Evoked Potentials (VER, BAER, SSEP) in outpatient setting, and assisting provider during EMG procedures as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to perform all testing consistent with testing guidelines.
• Acquired skills and training to perform proficient and accurate EEG, Nerve Conduction and other physiological testing.
• Strong analytical skills, capacity to work with and effectively communicate with acute and chronically ill patients and the circumstances that surround these patients.
• BLS
• 1-2 years of Acute care in a hospital setting or other healthcare related field

Nice To Haves

• Completion of accredited AMA Program in Neurodiagnostic Technology which includes Electrodiagnostic components.
• ABRET registered (R.EEGT.) however will accept Board Eligible
• AAET certified RNCST or CNCST however will accept Board Eligible
• 3-5 years of experience
