Requirements

  • Intermediate “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.
  • Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
  • SECRET security clearance.
  • Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching or Service Provider certification.
  • US Citizenship Required (for clearance).

Nice To Haves

  • Associates of Arts/Associates of Science degree.
  • 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
  • Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
  • Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
  • Intermediate “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.
  • Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
  • Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment as specified in the task order to include the following: NET Promina equipment, KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries, CISCO Routers/Switches, Patch panels/maintenance panels, Fiber optic modems and interface cards.
