About The Position

Provide assistance to technologist; physicians and other staff members with peripheral activities associated with general diagnostic exams or other specialty areas as directed. Typical duties include preparing patients for the exam, assisting physicians during procedures as directed, obtaining necessary supplies for procedures, patient accompaniment, process paper work, computer entries and image processing. This position will also provide back-up services as a Technical Associate and as a PSR.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience working in a direct patient care related field
• Healthcare provider CPR certification
• Ability to provide Age Specific Care For: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to utilize Meditech (if applicable to position)
• Ability to utilize Epic (if applicable to position)
• Ability to utilize Performance Manager/NetLearning
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner
• Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public
• Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Basic Medical Terminology preferred
• Computer skills
