About The Position

Wipro is seeking a Teamcenter Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution design and delivery for Teamcenter PLM. The role is based in San Jose, California, with onsite work three days per week. The architect will shape the solution across product lifecycle processes and guide design, configuration, integrations, migration, testing, and change control to ensure delivery aligns with business requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience owning data model, workflow, revision/release, and access control design.
  • Active Workspace configuration and UX design experience.
  • Requirement-to-design-to-test traceability discipline.
  • Experience leading CRPs and design sprints with documented sign-offs.
  • Migration solution design experience, including mock-run exit criteria.
  • PLM-Teamcenter Administration experience.
  • 8–10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Teamcenter solution blueprint for Part, Document, BOM, Change, Quality, Compliance, and Supplier Collaboration processes.
  • Translate harmonized business processes into configured solution designs covering data models, workflows, revision and release strategies, naming rules, LOV/classification, and access controls.
  • Lead solution design sprints, CRP demonstrations, and design validation; drive decisions to closure within sprint timeboxes and capture sign-off.
  • Design Active Workspace experiences, including role-based dashboards, saved searches, reports, and visualization.
  • Define integration solution designs, including functional flows, data contracts, error handling, and reconciliation, for ERP, MES, MCAD/ECAD, SupplyFrame, and EDW.
  • Maintain requirement-to-design-to-test traceability and ensure signed requirements enter the build backlog with acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain the configuration-versus-customization register, promote out-of-the-box adoption, and guide exceptions through customization governance.
  • Define migration solution designs, including data scope, mapping rules, cleansing criteria, mock-run exit criteria, and business validation approaches.
  • Guide build sprints and review configurations for design fidelity; resolve cross-track design conflicts before they affect the critical path.
  • Establish the solution baseline and manage design impact analysis for change requests through the Change Control Board.
  • Support SIT and UAT through end-to-end scenario design, defect triage, and solution-level root-cause decisions.
