About The Position

This role involves administering and developing the Siemens Teamcenter environment. Responsibilities include system administration, customization, integration with enterprise systems, data and configuration management, user support, and process improvement. The position requires a subject matter expert who can manage large projects with limited oversight and coach junior professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Teamcenter administration and development, integration frameworks, and database/infrastructure management, along with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter administration and development.
Experience supporting PLM implementations in manufacturing or engineering environments.
PLM Siemens Teamcenter administration, BMIDE configuration, Workflow designer, Access manager, Change management configuration.
Development: ITK (Integration Toolkit), SOA services, Java / C++, Teamcenter RAC customization.
Integration: Teamcenter integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP, T4ST / PLMSI integration frameworks, Web services and APIs.
Database & Infrastructure: SQL / Oracle / MS SQL, Linux / Windows server administration, Application server configuration.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional environments.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex system environments.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the Siemens Teamcenter environment including servers, databases, and application configurations.
Manage user accounts, roles, access controls, and security policies.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and data integrity.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance (Dev / Test / Prod).
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Develop and maintain customizations using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and RAC customization.
Configure data models, item types, attributes, and relationships.
Implement workflow automation for ECN, ECR, and change management processes.
Develop custom scripts, utilities, and extensions to support business requirements.
Maintain code repositories and deployment processes.
Implement and support integrations between Siemens Teamcenter and enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, and CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, etc.).
Support middleware and integration frameworks such as T4S or PLMSI.
Troubleshoot data synchronization issues between PLM and ERP systems.
Configure and maintain BOM structures, item master data, and revision rules.
Support Engineering Change Management (ECN / MCN / ECR) processes.
Manage dataset configurations and document management structures.
Ensure proper version control and product configuration management.
Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for Teamcenter users.
Investigate and resolve system defects, integration issues, and workflow errors.
Work with infrastructure and database teams for system performance optimization.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to improve PLM processes.
Participate in system design discussions and architecture planning.
Recommend best practices for PLM governance and data standards.
