Requirements

  • A clear testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian education and agreement with our school's Statement of Faith and community lifestyle statements.
  • Commitment to upholding the Christian mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
  • Clear FBI/BCI background check
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, required
  • Valid and active Ohio teaching license/certification, required
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies and student learning needs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty to plan and implement student interventions through the RtI process
  • Co-teach and support differentiated instruction within the classroom
  • Monitor student progress and help develop strategies for academic and behavioral growth
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student needs
  • Partner with intervention specialists to support diverse learners
  • Maintain accurate data and documentation related to student progress
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing team collaboration
