Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Two or more years of direct care experience in a residential or psychiatric setting; or
  • Two or more years of management experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education, management, and direct care experience.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support direct care staff during each shift.
  • Promote a physically and emotionally safe, trauma-informed environment.
  • Conduct team huddles and shift turnovers to communicate client needs and treatment goals.
  • Mentor employees through observation, feedback, and ongoing training.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, time approvals, performance evaluations, and accountability.
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Monitor client safety, treatment engagement, and program quality.
  • Coordinate staffing based on program needs throughout the shift.
  • Provide leadership during crisis intervention and emergency situations.
  • Foster a culture of respect, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
