About The Position

JM Test Systems is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Outside Sales team and drive strategic growth across our markets. This role is responsible for setting direction, developing talent, and ensuring the team consistently delivers results aligned with company goals. As a key leader within the organization, you will work closely with executive leadership to shape sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and expand JM Test Systems’ presence in the industry—all while living out our core values of Quality, Responsiveness, Integrity, and Family.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a strong background in leadership or team management
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and market dynamics
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into execution
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen with experience in forecasting and performance analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Service Representatives across multiple regions
  • Set clear expectations, sales targets, and performance standards aligned with company objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including territory design, account assignments, and growth initiatives
  • Monitor sales performance through reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking to ensure targets are met
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement development plans
  • Partner with HR on performance improvement plans and employee development strategies
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends
  • Represent JM Test Systems in customer meetings, industry events, and public-facing opportunities
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction across all interactions
  • Review sales activity reports, financial data, and performance metrics to guide decision-making
  • Approve expenses, travel, and account strategies in alignment with business goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and quality standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and leadership teams
