This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The UPSIDE Research Assistant will support the implementation and evaluation of the Be CALM school-based intervention program. The Research Assistant will create and distribute Qualtrics forms to participants and assist in recruitment of school staff and families, including tracking recruitment efforts, updating/assembling materials, and logging returned consents and related forms. They will also oversee the technical aspects of the Hybrid Mindfulness Course, including creating new iterations through Canvas, inviting participants, and coordinating with Be CALM Trainers. The UPSIDE Research Assistant will also assist with documentation of data files, tabulating implementation and costs data, and assist with scheduling and email communication across project team. The Research Assistant will support development, review, and dissemination of intervention and school staff training materials/preparation, including lesson plans, flyers, website, and handouts. The position will also assist in aligning materials with digital accessibility guidelines, conduct literature reviews, copyedit reports, and prepare reference lists for proposals.
