As the Team Relations Specialist, you'll advocate for team members, leaders, and the company as a whole, handling team member professional and personal concerns and guiding leaders through complex HR situations. You'll analyze metric reports and data to provide recommendations on process improvements that mitigate risk and improve team member experience. This role provides team relations support to headcounts ranging from 400 – 1000+ team members and leaders. You will advise and support all team members and leaders on team relations issues, escalating issues and offering solutions on HR scenarios as needed. You will also assist with team member and leader questions on a variety of HR topics and serve as the subject matter expert on overall team member experience, engagement, and retention initiatives/trainings and solutions. Additionally, you will develop leadership skills of business leaders through the design and execution of roleplay scenarios. You will collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance and mitigate business risk by advising leaders and team members on applicable employment laws such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), etc. You will collect team member data through exit interviews, turnover, overtime, etc. to identify, summarize, and provide recommendations on team member trends. You will conduct internal investigations from initial intake to process completion, in some cases acting as a representative of the organization in legal proceedings. You will support business leaders and Pulse partners with organizational strategic and workforce planning and engage in the interactive accommodation process with team members from start to finish. You will advise leaders on performance management processes and employment action, including facilitating the separation process when necessary. You will serve as a mental health first responder for team members, including assessing risk, identifying resources to assist, and closing the loop with relevant parties. You will be responsible for contacting team member emergency contacts if a team member has not reported to work, including partnering with Rock Security to conduct team member wellness checks as needed. You will serve as the main point of contact in emergency situations such as natural disasters and pandemic response, including partnering with leaders and internal teams as needed. You will facilitate large-scale training and orientation as a representative of Team Relations and participate in the Team Relations objectives and key results (OKR) Committee to develop and execute on goals that drive the organization forward. You will also conduct office hours, townhalls, stay interviews, and engagement sessions to maintain an open line of communication with team members and leaders.
