About The Position

The Team Member is central to the Caribou Coffee experience, creating day-making experiences through guest service, hand-crafted beverages, and bringing Caribou's purpose and values to life. The role involves serving guests, preparing beverages and food, supporting different coffeehouse tasks as needed, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. No previous experience is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
Excellent customer service mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Deliver guest service that builds real connections through active listening, personal attention, and thoughtful interactions.
Hand-craft beverages and prepare food according to standard recipes, customizing orders to guest preferences.
Move between barista, greeter, and other roles as the shift requires.
Take orders and manage the cash drawer accurately while following cash-handling, safety, and security standards.
Keep the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked, meeting operating standards for quality and safety.
Anticipate guests' and teammates' needs and act before being asked.
Make recommendations based on product knowledge.
Resolve problems independently when appropriate and seek support from a leader when needed.
Take direction from leaders while balancing multiple priorities.
Arrive on time and ready for every scheduled shift, maintaining reliable attendance.
