About The Position

Circle K is hiring a part-time Team Member / Customer Service Representative for its Shakopee, Minnesota store. The role involves serving customers in a fast-paced retail environment, working across different areas of the store, and helping maintain its appearance and service standards. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required. The position has evening availability, with weekday and weekend availability required.

Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent customer care and communicate in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work at a quick pace while remaining engaged and having fun.
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish daily goals.
• Ability to think quickly and offer suggestions.
• Evening availability, including weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Ability to bend at the waist, with some twisting, for up to one hour per shift.
• Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with the hands, requiring eye-hand coordination; may need to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place and remove signs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
• Operate the register and cashier.
• Make purchase suggestions and sell products to customers.
• Sometimes work with the store’s food program.
• Work in different areas inside and outside the store to maintain store appearance and standards.
• Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.
• Work with the team to accomplish daily tasks.
• Communicate with customers and offer suggestions or ideas to solve problems.
