As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience by preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting food preparation. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent service.
Requirements
- High school diploma (relevant training is a plus)
- A naturally positive attitude and a genuine love for connecting with people
- Previous work experience as a Barista or in Customer Service
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Food handler certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to company recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit.
- Receive and process payments accurately using credit card systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, workstations, and customer areas, including sanitizing counters and equipment.
- Sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and storage.
- Serve and prepare food items such as avocado toast, pastries, and muffins, adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks, including taking out trash and maintaining store hygiene.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and inventory as needed to ensure availability.
- Support other team members during peak hours and assist with managing to-go and delivery orders.
- Deliver food and drink orders from the counter to customers promptly and accurately.
- Keep both front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Clear and wipe down tables, return dishes to the kitchen, and reset dining areas for new customers.
