About The Position

The Warehouse Team Member I accurately and efficiently completes assigned distribution center tasks using equipment and systems such as RF barcode scanning devices, electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, warehouse management system (WMS) applications, and other shipping applications. The role includes processing warehouse transactions, handling and preparing batteries, maintaining warehouse records and work areas, and performing general warehousing duties. Team members are expected to work safely, maintain accuracy, transition between tasks as needed, and interact professionally with colleagues across the warehouse distributor and other departments.

Requirements

High school graduate.
Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
No experience required.
Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Sense of urgency and well organized.
Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Consistent walking or walking during the shift.
Able to perform repetitive taping of boxes.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

Warehouse operations experience, including experience with RF/handheld equipment, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch-wrap machines, preferably in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately process system and manual transactions, including receiving, transfers, picking, packing, and shipping.
Load and unload batteries.
Restock batteries.
Charge, clean, date, and rewrap rotation batteries.
Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
Properly tag pallets for transfer, picking, packing, and shipping.
Perform general warehousing duties, such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas.
Multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function or task to another.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
