About The Position

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and accurately conducting sales transactions. The Team Member will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to age-restricted products. They will also be involved in merchandising, ensuring food quality and sanitation standards, and assisting with the training of new associates.   • Ability to solve practical problems & deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently and courteously greet and thank each customer.
  • Manage complaints courteously and efficiently according to company policy.
  • Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maintain an immaculately clean environment using guidelines provided by the Store Manager.
  • Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions.
  • Notify the store manager of any sales, cash, or operating discrepancies.
  • Generate accurate and legible shift reports.
  • Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all duties required on Shift Duty Checklists.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations concerning all facets of job responsibilities and duties, and store operations, including the sale of age restricted products.
  • Follow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with store manager and co-workers.
  • Keep Store Manager informed of any maintenance problems and/or any situations out of the ordinary.
  • Perform all necessary merchandising duties according to company policy and procedure; including (but not limited to) proper pricing, knowledge and implementation of promotions and sales, suggestive selling, proper vendor check-in, stocking merchandise (including the cooler), and keeping all merchandise clean, fronted, and faced.
  • Ensure that all food and food preparation maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in the proper training of new Sales Associates as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all required training sessions.
  • Never discuss company business in the presence of customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
