About The Position
Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring Team Members across Production, Donation Attendant, Sales Floor Associate, and Cashier functions. Team Members support Goodwill’s mission by helping people with barriers to employment through donation processing and excellent customer service. Production Associates price donations according to guidelines and goals, helping maximize funds for the mission and maintain an efficient flow of donations. Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, accept donations carefully, and sort donations to keep production organized. Sales Floor Associates organize the sales floor, help customers find items, answer questions, and provide a positive shopping experience. Cashiers build customer relationships, accurately ring up sales, and explain how purchases support Goodwill’s work. The position offers cross-training, advancement opportunities, and customer service training.
Requirements
- One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
- Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maintain customer service standards when interacting with donors.

Responsibilities
- Price donations according to pricing guidelines and goals to help maximize funds for Goodwill’s mission.
- Maintain an efficient flow of donations and help ensure a smooth customer service experience on the sales floor.
- Greet and thank donors and carefully accept their donations.
- Sort incoming donations and keep the production area organized.
- Organize the sales floor and help customers find items.
- Answer customer questions about Goodwill and its donations.
- Accurately ring up sales transactions and explain how purchases support Goodwill’s mission.
- Provide outstanding customer service to donors, customers, and team members.
