Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items according to Tasty Chick’n’s standards and procedures, following specific recipes and portion sizes.
  • Utilize appropriate cooking techniques and equipment, adhering to proper holding times and temperatures.
  • Monitor food items regularly to ensure they remain within safe temperature ranges.
  • Rotate stock efficiently to minimize waste.
  • Package food products in Tasty Chick’n-approved containers and bags securely.
  • Label food items when necessary for takeout orders.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products, visually inspecting for appearance and freshness, and taste-testing select items.
  • Always wear the complete and proper uniform, ensuring it is clean, neat, and represents the brand positively.
  • Adhere to grooming standards to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Maintain eye contact and engage warmly with customers, using friendly and welcoming body language.
  • Personalize interactions by addressing customers by name when possible and remembering repeat guests.
  • Follow Tasty Chick’n’s cash handling and security protocols, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Safeguard cash and sensitive information, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management immediately.
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates and welcome coaching from the management team.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, actively engaging and sharing ideas for improvement.
  • Be open to constructive feedback from supervisors and peers to enhance personal performance.
  • Communicate positively with customers, colleagues, and managers, using clear and respectful language.

  • Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary.

  • Understand and implement cross-contamination prevention measures in food preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, front counter, drive-thru, kitchen, storage areas, and restrooms throughout your shift.
  • Conduct frequent checks of all areas to ensure they remain tidy and welcoming.
  • Promptly address any spills or messes to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure the parking lot and exterior are litter-free and inviting.
  • Regularly walk the restaurant's exterior to pick up litter and maintain the overall appearance of the location.
  • Ensure that outdoor seating areas are clean and well arranged for customer comfort.
  • Participate in routine deep cleaning tasks and scheduled deep cleaning efforts.
  • Help maintain an organized inventory to ensure that all supplies are stored properly and accessible.
