As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience by preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting food preparation. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent service.
Requirements
- High school diploma (relevant training is a plus)
- A naturally positive attitude and a genuine love for connecting with people
- Previous work experience as a Barista or in Customer Service
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
- Food handler certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, ensuring consistency with company recipes and standards.
- Greet customers, provide outstanding customer service, and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, workstations, and customer areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment.
- Serve and prepare food items such as avocado toast, pastries, and muffins, adhering to quality and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks, including taking out trash and maintaining store hygiene.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Support other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Deliver food and drink orders promptly and accurately.
- Keep front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Clear and wipe down tables, return dishes to the kitchen, and reset dining areas.
- Support baristas and kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Help manage to-go and delivery orders as needed.
