Family Farm and Home is a family-owned and operated company with 71 retail locations across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for contributing to the daily maintenance of the store appearance, including stocking products, managing back stock, product recovery and assembly, operating the cash register, and maintaining general store cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
- Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
- Utilize Farm Hand to receive communication and tasks from corporate office and store management.
- Greet customers as they enter/exit the store and interact with them in a pleasant and positive manner.
- Solicit customers to sign up for Family Farm and Home Programs (Loyalty program, Extended Warranties, Add-on Initiative, Financing, Item of the Month).
- Answer phone calls professionally.
- Approach and assist customers in store, on Family Farm and Home supported internet sites, and process special orders.
- Utilize POS to checkout customers and follow all cash handling processes and procedures.
- Utilize On the Go to complete POG’s and Mass layouts according to store layout.
- Understand, support, and solicit customers to use financing options and utilize current financing websites to complete customer credit inquiries.
- Assist in setting promotional signage, price changes, clearance prices, and any other in-store signage.
- Assist in freight, recovery, and out-of-stock processes.
- Achieve passing scores on corporate store audits, assessments, and store walks.
- Maintain awareness of in-store safety issues and shoplifting activities, and communicate potential issues to store management.
- Uphold and support all company Loss Prevention measures.
- Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently (for individuals 18 years and older).
- Assist in building/assembling store displays, products, and fixtures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving, cash office and register area, restrooms, and break room.
- Uphold merchandising, store cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Assist in the completion of the Daily Operational standards checklist.
- Contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management or company officials.
