About The Position

Within our warehouse team, you play a key role in making sure our products are accurately received, organized, and shipped. As part of a team dedicated to delivering excellence in supply chain operations, your work directly affects our success in achieving our mission. The focus of the maintenance team is to keep equipment in the RDC fully operational. The RDC Maintenance Clerk is an entry-level position supporting the Maintenance department, responsible for daily data entry into maintenance asset management software (INFOR). The Clerk is also responsible for in-service tool tracking, maintaining the organized parts inventory and performing parts runs to ensure the mechanics have all tools and parts needed for assigned tasks. The Maintenance Clerk will also work on other tasks and/or projects by supervisor as needed. To succeed, the Maintenance Clerk must be willing to learn computer software and purchasing processes specific to the department. In addition, the Maintenance Clerk will be highly organized and communicate clearly with peers, other departments, and supervisors as well as outside vendors.

Requirements

  • Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
  • Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility.
  • Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
  • Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and capability to learn new software system(s)
  • Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school graduate or prior technical education not resulting in a degree
  • Prior mechanical experience/mechanical knowledge
  • Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
  • Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access, INFOR EAM or other computerized maintenance management software or other inventory control software.
  • Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Bilingual, Military, and Veteran applicants are encouraged to apply.
