About The Position

The Works is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our front of house team in Brattleboro, VT. We are a growing regional chain of community-minded cafés focused on high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Greeting and serving customers
Handling cash
Preparing handcrafted smoothies, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, entrées, salads, soups, and more
Maintaining a clean and organized café
Staying calm and composed in a fast-paced work environment
Overseeing daily administrative requirements such as cash handling (Shift Leader)
Adhering to established operational and service standards and helping fellow staff do the same (Shift Leader)
Developing staff by giving timely, honest, and ongoing feedback (Shift Leader)
Leading, directing, and guiding others (Shift Leader)
