About The Position

The FNS Team member performs a variety of duties. They include: accurate and attractive tray assembly, tray delivery to patients, operation of the dish machine, sanitation of work area, dishes, and equipment, preparation of food items for patient room service and cafeteria, cafeteria sales and operation of cash registers. The FNS Team Member demonstrates Courtesy, positive Attitude, Respect, and Enthusiasm to patients, visitors, and co-workers.

Requirements

Part-time relief employees must be able to perform in at least four areas
No chemical allergies (for specific roles)
No lifting restrictions (for specific roles)
Excellent front-line skills (for Cafeteria/Espresso Bar)
Basic mathematic skills (for Cafeteria/Espresso Bar)
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a good driving record (for Head Start)
Excellent people skills (for Expediter, Tray Passing, Catering)
No allergies to non-latex gloves

Responsibilities

Accurate and attractive tray assembly

Accurate and consistent in the delivery of supplies to the floors and the delivery of nourishments to patients
Perform lifting, reaching, and other various repetitive tasks as part of their job duties
Utilize and implement the safety measures and policies taken to eliminate ergonomic stresses in each area
Be quick and efficient in Room Service and Expediter roles
Have good communication skills in Room Service and Expediter roles
Accurately build patient trays with items listed on a room service tray ticket
Lift trays and push carts
Have excellent people skills in Expediter, Tray Passing, and Catering roles
No chemical allergies for Dish Room and Sanitation/Pot Room roles
No lifting restrictions for Dish Room, Sanitation/Pot Room, Storeroom/Stocking, and Catering roles
Excellent front-line skills for Cafeteria/Espresso Bar role
Basic mathematic skills for Cafeteria/Espresso Bar role
Push carts and lift pans of food to replenish hot and cold food bars
Monitor and maintain food quality at all times
Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a good driving record for Head Start role
