Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous, and personalized service throughout their dining experience.
  • Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and beverage selections, and provide recommendations when required.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of orders to guests.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
  • Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and respond promptly to requests, concerns, or special requirements.
  • Process guest bills accurately and handle cashless or cash transactions according to hotel procedures.
  • Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within all restaurant and service areas.
  • Support hotel events, banquets, and special functions as required.
  • Promote IHG service culture by creating memorable experiences and building positive guest relationships.
