About The Position

Dave’s Hot Chicken is a rapidly expanding new concept, serving Nashville style Hot Chicken. As a local, family owned franchise we are excited to bring this extremely successful concept from Los Angeles to Portland and all of Oregon. The Team Member - Dishwasher is responsible and accountable for performing specific tasks and duties assigned within the Restaurant including guest service, food prep, restaurant cleanliness, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably.
  • Be able to work in close quarters and around heat.
  • A positive attitude while conducting all duties.
  • Have a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Effective communicator with Teammates and the Restaurant Management Team.
  • The identify of all new hires will be verified by E-Verify

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions.
  • Work together with other Teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.
  • Use specific kitchen machinery/equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, dishwashers, etc.
  • Perform dishwashing duties including washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure Restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing/sanitizing/disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms.
  • Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to Restaurant Policy.
