About The Position

The Team Medical Director will provide medical leadership for the Medical Team within a community health setting. This role involves collaborating with senior managers, physicians, and nursing leaders to establish and meet team productivity goals. Key responsibilities include participating in the orientation and training of new providers, supervising team providers, contributing to the development of goals and priorities, and assisting in writing relevant policies and procedures for the Medical Team.

Requirements

Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Board Certified, with Massachusetts license.
Must have demonstrated past leadership ability.
Experience with and commitment to working with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Experience in medical administration, particularly evaluation and supervision of licensed medical providers and other clinical staff preferred.
Experience in Quality Assurance, Utilization Review, Continuous Quality Improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide medical leadership for the Medical Team.
Take responsibility, collaborating with other senior managers, physicians, and nursing leaders for establishing and meeting team productivity goals.
Participates in orientation and training of new providers.
Supervise providers on the team.
Participate in developing goals and priorities, collaborating with other members of the leadership team, senior managers and other physician and nursing leaders.
Participate in writing policies/procedures relevant to the Medical Team, as needed.
