Job Purpose We are now accepting applications for a Team Manager position, at the Richmond Main Plant location. A Team Manager directly supervises all associates in departments as assigned and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, safety, and evaluation of all associates on one shift. Manages by following company policies established by Human Resources, Engineering, Quality, and applicable laws. It is a Salary position, so to be considered you must meet the minimum qualifications. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of five (5) years manufacturing experience
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead and direct improvement teams.
  • Follows production schedules, plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
  • Prioritize work to follow production schedule.
  • Utilize Kronos time management system to schedule employees, monitor attendance and manage labor utilization.
  • Conduct routine inspection of critical items to ensure quality standards while monitoring productivity.
  • Take timely corrective measures as necessary, recording information accurately and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Maintain plant security, recordkeeping and reporting duties in order to minimize any security violations.
  • Assess team member training and development needs and conduct training.
  • Recognizes exceptional performance, conducts performance review and administers discipline.
  • Understand performance measurement, and measure performance to goals and standards.
  • Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Interprets and applies policies to team members.
  • Review and approve team member production and work records.
  • Demonstrate a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude
  • Regular in person attendance with on time arrival as scheduled.
  • Required to work irregular hours on short notice.
  • Utilize EOS Tools at the process to monitor & improve performance metrics (MDIs, 5S Standards, Hr-by-Hr Tracking, Problem-Solving Sheets, etc.).
  • Initiate and implement action plans when metrics do not meet monthly targets. Plans must explain root cause and countermeasures to improve toward the target.
