Team Manager-Engine Assembly
About The Position
The Team Manager role is responsible for leading and developing a team of production employees to meet and/or exceed all key performance indicators. This role ensures daily production goals are met, maintains compliance with health and safety regulations, and drives continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles. The Team Manager fosters a culture of accountability and teamwork while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize operational performance. The Team Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of production and maintenance employees to achieve performance targets related to safety, quality, delivery and cost. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to Ford Motor Company's commitment to producing high-quality powertrain components while maintaining a safe and productive workplace. The Team Manager plays a key role in driving our Ford Operating System, supporting employee development, and contributing to Ford's success in delivering reliable and innovative vehicles.
