About The Position

This role involves supervising a work group to ensure daily production schedules are met, upholding company safety and sanitation policies, and ensuring employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices. The Team Leader is responsible for communicating objectives, programs, and policies, and ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities. This position also focuses on achieving objectives related to personnel management, safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling. Additionally, the Team Leader will oversee the training of new employees, complete production reports and payroll responsibilities, and foster a participatory environment through leadership and role modeling, ensuring all team members understand and utilize company principles.

Responsibilities

Supervise a work group to assure production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
Ensure company safety policy is followed.
Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and that all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ensure communication of objectives, programs, policies and that team members are familiar with their authority, responsibilities, and objectives.
Ensure achievement of objectives relating to personnel management, personnel safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling.
Oversee training of new employees in proper performance of line tasks.
Complete production reports and payroll responsibilities as required.
Through leadership, training and effective role modeling, personally ensure that all team members understand and use the Charter, Employee Handbook, Managing Principles and Team Commitment to increase a participatory environment of working together for mutual benefit.
