Performs adjustments to the production line, completes required documentation, and trains associates in machine processes and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Use a powered industrial truck, hand pallet jack, wrapping machine, scale, computer and printer.
  • 2 – 4 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, SPC, QS, Q1, ISO, PLEX and TS

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors work of associates to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Ensures quality standards are met & approval of finished product.
  • Monitors cleanliness and safety of the worksite.
  • Performs product problem solving and corrective actions.
  • Works to ensure QMS goals are attained.
  • Performs production line adjustments when necessary.
  • Completes required forms and paperwork.
  • Trains associates in machine processes and problem solving.
  • Load, unload trucks and move materials throughout the plant.
  • Verify quantities, lot numbers, labels and correctness of parts.
  • Notify materials control of any discrepancies in materials received or shipped.
  • Arrange and condense stock to maximize usage, maintaining lot and FIFO control.
  • Check locations and count for accuracy.
  • Use material in proper sequence.
  • Oversee Vendor Sort and Customer complaint issues.
  • May perform other miscellaneous jobs in shipping and receiving.
  • May maintain the location of material in racks on the PC.
  • Will take intermediate level of responsibility to Safety for Employees, Building, Plant and Grounds
  • Serves as a member of various committees as needed.
  • Repairs minor machine problems.
  • Temporary job fill in for absentees on production lines.
  • Follows all safety rules and keeps the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
