Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong oral, written interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good basic math and reading skills
  • Strong coaching and training skills
  • Self-direction and initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient communication in English, Spanish a plus
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor in leading the departmental safety program, including housekeeping disciplines and the investigation of all accidents and injuries.
  • Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure quality control processes are maintained and practiced, including quality check sheets, are followed daily.
  • Maintain material flow ensuring uninterrupted production.
  • Ensure production schedule is completed on time.
  • Assist the Supervisors to train and develop all employees.
  • Promote and maintain a team environment consistent with company values and principles.
  • Display a willingness and availability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently your schedule status to downstream and upstream departments.
  • Display a positive, “Can Do” attitude – be a change agent.
  • Other duties as assigned.
