Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral, written interpersonal communications skills.
- Good basic math and reading skills
- Strong coaching and training skills
- Self-direction and initiative.
Nice To Haves
- Proficient communication in English, Spanish a plus
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in leading the departmental safety program, including housekeeping disciplines and the investigation of all accidents and injuries.
- Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations.
- Ensure quality control processes are maintained and practiced, including quality check sheets, are followed daily.
- Maintain material flow ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Ensure production schedule is completed on time.
- Assist the Supervisors to train and develop all employees.
- Promote and maintain a team environment consistent with company values and principles.
- Display a willingness and availability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.
- Communicate clearly and frequently your schedule status to downstream and upstream departments.
- Display a positive, “Can Do” attitude – be a change agent.
- Other duties as assigned.
