About The Position

Sprout is opening a new restaurant in Clontarf this Autumn and is looking for a Team Leader to join their brilliant Leadership team. This role is for full-time availability only. As a Team Leader, you will help set the tone for the restaurant, support the Restaurant Leader, lead shifts, develop team members, and maintain high standards in food, service, and operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working with people, and is eager for leadership growth.

Requirements

Around 2 years of experience in hospitality or another fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Some experience leading people or taking responsibility for shifts.
Confident communication skills.
Ability to stay organised when there is a lot happening.
Comfortable holding standards across food, service, safety, and the team.
Genuine care for people.
Takes responsibility.
Desire to become a stronger leader.

Responsibilities

Support the Restaurant Leader and help set the team up for success.
Lead from the front, communicate clearly, and ensure everyone knows expectations.
Support new starters, coach team members daily, and provide clear, useful feedback.
Spot potential in others and help them build confidence and advance their careers.
Build strong relationships across the team, encourage open communication, and foster a supportive, recognised, and inclusive culture.
Ensure customers feel genuinely welcome and looked after, and effectively handle and resolve issues.
Monitor food quality, portioning, prep, presentation, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures to maintain consistent standards.
Own the daily shift plan, assign roles, and manage operations during busy periods.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Leader on stock, waste, rostering, recruitment, retention, and daily operations.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are understood and followed by everyone.
