About The Position
Firehouse Subs is a brand founded by two firefighters in 1994, and now has over 1,200 locations in the US and Canada. Our sandwiches are unique because we slice our meats fresh in-house daily, and our steaming process awakens the flavours of our premium meats and cheeses. With generous portions and craveable combinations, our subs are like nothing you've tasted before! We are recruiting for PART-TIME and FULL-TIME Team Leaders to join our team! This location is scheduled to open December 2026. Employment start date will be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- 1 year of Hospitality Experience
- Availability to work both days and afternoons preferred
- Strong work ethic with the curiosity to learn, grow and ask questions

Responsibilities
- Running and managing the shift
- Greeting and welcoming guests with a warm, friendly nature with a high level focus on hospitality
- Preparing and serving hearty and flavourful subs
- Acting as a role model for great behaviour and following standards
- Showing care for the restaurant and treating it like your own
- Making tough calls and learning from each experience
- Promoting the goals and targets of the restaurant, whether its speed of service, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, or upselling
- Communicating clear expectations and making achieving these goals fun
