About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising effective and safe daily activities of subordinates and meeting production deadlines. The Team Leader will coordinate the team's work efforts within the station to facilitate completion of assigned installations, utilize the progressive discipline process up to written warnings to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and complete assigned tasks to the highest quality standards. They will also comply with established procedures regarding parts handling to ensure quality builds and eliminate waste, coordinate with support elements (M.E., Materials, and QA), and ensure proper training and cross-training of all station members. Additionally, the Team Leader will report unsafe work conditions and injuries immediately, ensure their workstation is clean and tools are accounted for at the end of the shift, maintain good documentation, ensure the LiveBus is completed properly, organize and plan work station activities to meet daily production schedules, track and report part shortages, and communicate with team members, minimally conducting daily Toolbox meetings. The role requires the ability to communicate and support a changing environment, learn and use the Oracle system daily, and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Organize, plan and execute everything in the work station to ensure daily production line schedule is met.
  • Keep track of part shortages and report shortages immediately.
