About The Position

The Team Leader is responsible for supporting daily operations and helping lead team members during assigned shifts. This position works closely with other Team Leaders, Assistant General Managers, and General Managers to ensure excellent guest service, strong operational standards, and a clean, organized workplace. Team Leaders may support either Fuel Desk or Food Service operations. Food Service Team Leaders may begin in a specific kiosk such as Subway, Pizza Hut, Cinnabon, Caribou, or Deli, while remaining available to assist other food concepts as business needs require. Fuel Desk Team Leaders support front-end operations while also helping oversee merchandising and porter responsibilities throughout the store. This individual is trained to perform all duties completed by the team, with additional responsibility for directing operations in the manager’s absence and ensuring company standards are consistently followed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand checklists, manuals, and operational procedures
  • Ability to use company technology and systems as directed
  • Ability to cross-train and work in multiple departments or food concepts
  • Ability to quickly and accurately operate point-of-sale systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations during assigned shifts in the absence of management
  • Help supervise, train, coach, and motivate team members
  • Ensure all assigned tasks and shift responsibilities are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Support shift coverage, employee breaks, and shift changes
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for Fuel Desk and Food Service operations
  • Ensure food kiosks are cleaned, stocked, and properly closed at the end of the shift
  • Verify all required food preparation, cleaning, temperature logs, and safety procedures are completed
  • Help oversee merchandising, stocking, cleanliness, and porter responsibilities throughout the store
  • Maintain fast, friendly, and accurate guest service
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety guidelines, health regulations, and safety policies
  • Assist other kiosks or departments as needed based on business demands
  • Accurately operate all point-of-sale systems and company technology
  • Work cooperatively with all team members and departments
  • Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and respect for a diverse team and guest population
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
