Immediate Opening for Team Leader 1st Shift (Floater/Offsite)

This role involves hands-on supervision of assigned inspectors and representing TFT Global professionally. The Team Leader will have a comprehensive understanding of the CVP package, Vantage system, and scanner operations, as well as work cell setup, 5S practices, and ergonomics. A working knowledge of relevant ISO procedures is also required, along with other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities include preparing work instructions, gathering and reviewing data in Vantage, authorizing daily timesheets, and providing hands-on training to inspectors. The role also focuses on fostering continuous improvement, adhering to health and safety regulations, participating in training, and providing input for inspector performance appraisals and competency reviews. Communication with company customer representatives and off-site customer communications are key. Flexibility to meet customer service demands is essential. Pre-employment requirements include a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance as some local travel is required
- Valid passport is preferred
- Familiar with all ISO standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Flexibility to meet customer service demands
- Criminal background check, Drug Screen and Post Offer Pre-employment physical

Responsibilities
- Hands-on supervision of assigned Inspectors
- Represent TFT in the most professional image at all times
- Have a complete understanding of the CVP package
- Have a general understanding of Vantage
- Have a full understanding on how to operate Vantage scanners
- Have a complete understanding Setup/Completion of work cells, practice 5S
- Understanding of ergonomics as it relates to setup and work flow
- Have a working knowledge of relative ISO procedures
- All other related duties as assigned
- Prepare work instructions
- Gather and review data in Vantage
- Authorization of daily time sheets for assigned Inspectors
- Work instruction and hands on training of all Inspectors for respective sort as per CVP
- Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvements
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Participate in orientation and training requirements for Inspectors
- Provide input into Inspector Performance Appraisals
- Complete Inspector Competency reviews
- Liaise with Company Customer Representative for relevant Customers
- Off-site communications with with Customers
