About The Position

Virginia Eagle, a leading beverage distributor, is currently looking for an energetic, positive, team minded, sales manager to join the Springfield location. The Team Leader directs assigned Sales Representatives to achieve company sales goals in their territory. The Team Leader is expected to lead by example and coach their team to aggressively maintain and grow beverage sales in all accounts. The best candidate for this position is a type A personality with attention to detail.

Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Must have the ability to safely drive various vehicles.
Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
Must maintain insurability to operate a motor vehicle.
Must have previous sales experience.
Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more on a repetitive basis during a 10 to 15 hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.
Must be able to move beverages in and around account.
Package beer weighing 15 lbs. to 40 lbs. per case.
Occasionally must be able to lift kegs weighing up to 165 lbs.
Must have the ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather and/or temperature conditions.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have the ability to communicate, utilizing the English language in verbal and written form.
Must be able to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to balance all monetary transactions as necessary.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Prefer candidates with at least 5 years of previous beverage sales experience.
Prefer Commercial Driver’s License.
Prefer previous beverage sales experience.
