About The Position

Henderson Retail is seeking a Team Leader for their SPAR Larkhill location. This role involves leading the store team to provide excellent customer experiences and contribute positively to the local community. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous store retail experience, with at least 6 months in a supervisory role leading a team in a customer-focused environment.
• Natural ability to listen, interact, and communicate with customers and team members.
• Target-driven with a focus on continuous improvement to help the store achieve business plans and priorities.
• Ability to inspire others to perform their best for each other and the customer.

Nice To Haves

• A P250 Post Office check will be required from the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Leading the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices, alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager.
• Taking responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder duties.
• Acting as a positive role model and representing company values (Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, Integrity).
• Training, managing workload, and supporting the team while being hands-on in store to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Supporting the Store Manager in maximizing store performance by understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities.
• Actively promoting and participating in community support initiatives with the store team.
• Covering the Post Office duties as required.
