About The Position

Join our Raymond Team as a Warehouse Team Leader! We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this position, you’ll oversee, lead and collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals in a warehouse environment to help support the production line needs. Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Successful completion of the company’s ATL curriculum program in the first year of being in the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Pervious leadership experience – strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Wavetrak (WMS), including dispatching orders – strongly preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying continuous improvement (kaizen) opportunities and recommending solutions; ensuring approved kaizens are implemented.
  • Leading approved kaizen activities and supporting TPS processes.
  • Participating in quality control circles and jishuken activities.
  • Assigning and monitoring daily work to ensure goals are met; reports results to the Supervisor and/or Manager.
  • Prioritizes quality and provides employees with feedback on processes, procedures, and assignments.
  • Using problem-solving techniques to address issues and escalates concerns to the supervisor/manager when needed.
  • Monitoring employee morale and taking appropriate action to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Providing on-the-job training to ensure employees are prepared to perform their jobs successfully.
  • Facilitating cross-training to build employee skills and flexibility in daily work assignments.
  • Promoting a safe work environment and supports 5S and STOP programs.
  • Coordinating preventive maintenance for machines, equipment, and facilities.
  • Monitoring daily production schedules and ensuring parts and orders are delivered on time.
  • Performing similar duties as department associates - as needed.
  • Completing other projects as assigned.
