About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning assigned production equipment daily. The role involves adhering to Leadec's values and business principles, working safely around moving equipment, and maintaining a consistent work schedule. Key tasks include replacing air filters, cleaning Sealer pumps and robots, inspecting and refilling Sealer robot lubricators, and cleaning trash and debris in specific zones. The Team Leader will also track completed tasks, support EHS and Quality objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.
  • Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.
  • Under minimal supervision, work directly on routine daily tasks.
  • Fill out paperwork (Checklist) on completed tasks.
  • Complete training and practice proper Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Work steadily at a reasonable pace at all times that are not paid breaks or lunches.
  • Must show up consistently and on time to work every day.
  • Perform work tasks with a sense of pride and ownership.
  • Satisfying customers and management.
  • Work ethic, integrity, and attendance are the most highly valued qualifications.
  • Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high).
  • Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
  • Use a broom, vacuum, scissors, Simple Green cleaner, and other cleaning tools.
  • Wear long pants, shirts, steel toe work boots, cut-resistant Kevlar sleeves and gloves, ear protection, and safety glasses.
  • Climb stairs multiple times per day.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. periodically for 2-3 minutes each time.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Cleaning or janitorial experience in an industrial environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
  • Works safely at all times, including around moving equipment.
  • Consistently arrives on time and is fit to work every day as scheduled.
  • Replaces air filters for electrical control panels.
  • Cleans Sealer pumps using Simple Green cleaner.
  • Inspects and refills Sealer robot lubricators.
  • Cleans Sealer buildup on Sealer robots.
  • Cleans trash and debris within Drop Lifter Zones.
  • Vacuums weld dust and debris from the bottom of electrical control panels and robot controllers.
  • Tracks and records completed tasks on a work checklist.
  • Adheres to and supports all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.
