About The Position
This role is responsible for the sterile processing of supplies and maintenance of the operating room and various other departments within the hospital. The Team Leader will also assist the Manager/Supervisor with various duties, including coordinating daily workflow.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- 3 years of experience in a hospital Sterile Processing department required
- CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from HSPA required or CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
