  • Demonstrated record of developing and implementing suggestions as well as regular use of other TOS tools.
  • Dedicated to learning TOS/continuous improvement concepts and applying them to the day-to-day operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
  • Previous mechanical experience
  • High School Diploma / GED and further college education a plus

Responsibilities

  • Fill in for primary Team Leader(s) and perform all functions of the Team leader role to include successful completion of TL Standard Work.
  • Plan and oversee daily workload and provide motivation and feedback to assigned team members.
  • Apply TOS/Lean tools on a daily basis to ensure maximum quality and efficiency for assigned team.
  • Train new employees, provide follow-up training, and cross training to existing employees.
  • Perform standard work and 5S audits to facilitate continuous improvement and lead problem solving exercises for assigned team and work with other teams to support their problem solving efforts.
