About The Position

This position will serve as a Team Leader in School-Based Services with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of school-based therapists. The team leader will report to the Program Coordinator for School-Based/CCFT services. This position requires a master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or counseling. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling.
  • If Master's degree is in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above), completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework.
  • Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas: Clinical treatment and treatment planning, Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders, Psychopathology, Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy.
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods
  • Demonstrates good clinical judgment in decision making regarding consumers

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience providing behavioral health services with children and teens
  • License-eligible in respective discipline preferred
  • Fully licensed in the State of Tennessee preferred. (LCSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP)

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative oversight for School-Based therapists to include caseload management, handling of referrals, monitoring productivity, and offering guidance and support (ideally 8-10 administrative staff)
  • Attend administrative oversight with Program Coordinator
  • Network with school administrators to ensure a supportive and productive environment for staff and maintain positive relationships with the administrators at the school district level
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
  • Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients
  • Complete random client satisfaction surveys as directed
  • Assist in trouble shooting with School-Based therapists to ensure their success in providing services
  • Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when a school therapist position is vacant
  • Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team
