About The Position

In this pivotal role on our Manufacturing team, you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented! As a motivated and upbeat leader, you have proven leadership abilities and hands-on capability! As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as coordinate and prioritize work schedules and assign tasks. You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met.

Requirements

Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight.
Ability to read, write and use basic math.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks.
Able to adapt to a changing work environment, including increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations.
Work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities.
Knowledge of Excel/Word/SAP.

Responsibilities

Commit to a Zero-Harm workplace and ensure Safety policies are followed along with timely reporting of all safety incidents.
Cultivate a collaborative environment while interacting and motivating a team of operators to achieve People/Quality/Delivery/Cost objectives.
Ensure training and cross training on accurate procedures and operations of tools to develop operators and maintain flexibility.
Use computer to update production targets, scrap transactions, order material.
Ensure all quality and regulatory policies are carried out to include; Review/Sign Device History Records, Training records and other quality documents.
Assist your supervisor and Group Leaders with employee appraisals.
