Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lead others in a professional and effective manner.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and personnel-related problems.
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate production equipment within the ECG manufacturing area.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in shift production.
  • Operate V Machines.
  • Ensure paperwork is followed through and completed correctly.
  • Assist with preparing supplies and materials.
  • Issue and/or revise factory orders as required.
  • Perform quality inspections and trainings.
  • Complete and finalize paperwork prior to filing it for DHR.
  • Assist in managing all job-training records related to production.
  • Troubleshoot machinery as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and other stocking items as required.
  • Participate in and assist Management and Supervision with the performance management of manufacturing personnel, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead the reduction of workplace risk and injury by implementing safety standards and policies, including: Generating safety training plans for every employee and ensuring training is delivered. Identifying workplace risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize risks. Conducting and documenting safety reviews, inspections, and audits. Leading accident investigations to identify and implement meaningful corrective and preventive actions.
