About The Position

Kirby Risk Electrical Supply is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support operations at our Distribution Center in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for a working manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads through example. In this role, you'll work alongside the second-shift team to support daily warehouse operations, provide guidance and training, and help ensure operational goals are met safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of warehouse and/or light manufacturing experience
• 1+ year of experience within Kirby Risk, electrical distribution, or the wire industry
• Demonstrated experience training and developing team members
• Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and process adherence
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed
• Computer proficiency; experience with Eclipse or WMS preferred
• Ability to understand, follow, and support standard operating procedures
• Ability to perform and retain skill-based training across warehouse operations
• Must have legal status that enables you to work in the U.S. We cannot obtain sponsorship.
• Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical distribution experience is a plus

• Train, teach, and mentor warehouse team members
• Lead shift start meetings and assign, monitor, and balance daily workloads
• Maintain a consistent and efficient workflow throughout the day
• Develop, update, and reinforce warehouse processes and procedures
• Communicate and follow up with multiple departments and functions
• Build cross-functional teamwork and support employee engagement and morale
• Support quality control standards and safe work practices
• Work alongside the team as a hands-on leader to meet operational goals
