Provides leadership and supervision for employees, assigning duties, providing daily guidance, and ensuring necessary training. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, and contributes to the maintenance of departmental job descriptions. Acts as a mentor, providing support and guidance for employee development, and conducts performance appraisals. Participates in hiring, disciplinary, and termination procedures. Oversees the quality of services and program safety, ensuring adherence to accrediting and regulatory bodies. Conducts audits of timekeeping and performance to ensure persons served receive appropriate service levels. Encourages independence and self-promoting behaviors from persons served. Participates in engagement, screening, assessment, and coordination of services. Ensures face-to-face contact with individuals discharged from psychiatric hospitalization within program guidelines. Conducts interviews to assess suicidal/homicidal ideations and social determinants of health. Schedules appointments, secures transportation, and provides transportation as needed. Refers individuals and families to additional services and collaborates with community agencies for successful reintegration. Provides after-hours availability and participates in treatment plan meetings.
