About The Position

As a leader of a team of claims experts, you will play a strategic role in managing residential and commercial claims.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in claims
  • AMF 5A license and at least 1 to 2 years of management experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant college diploma or CIP designation.
  • Natural leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide others.
  • Professionalism, empathy, and resilience during peak periods.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
  • High degree of proficiency with English is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
  • Successful clearance of background checks (including criminal checks and leadership references).

Responsibilities

  • Supervising, coaching, and developing your team members to maximize their performance and professional growth.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service to our policyholders, while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Overseeing individual and team performance, providing ongoing and constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to internal policies.
  • Actively participating in the selection, training, and evaluation of employees, while identifying development opportunities.
  • Monitoring service levels and file quality, ensuring appropriate reserves for claims.
  • Contributing to continuous process improvement and acting as a change agent within the organization.
